The Tool Room operates a separate profit center and is set up as a joint venture with HCM Engineering, UK, which bring in over 45 Years of expertise in High Pressure Die Casting, Gravity Die Casting  and low pressure die casting tool manufacturing. HCMIBEX due to the UK association has successfully evolved a business model of supplying low cost tooling to the UK and European die cast shops. HCM, in the UK, acts as an interface with UK/European die cast shops. It offers Design inputs, GA approval and small modifications on the tooling sent from India, a service that no other company from a low end source can offer. Dedicated tooling tables and Tilt machines ably support customer requirements for Aluminium Gravity die casting parts. With sand core shooting facilities, this facility offers intricate gravity cast parts with sand cores. Casting upto 30kg and as low as 200gms are produced. The entire Aluminium Die Casting process of manufacturing takes place in a well equipped facility with a total built up of over 50,000 sqft, using established engineering practices. MAGNESIUM PRESSURE DIE CASTING Backed by its experience in supplying steering armatures, a safety critical part, to the auto industry, Ibex has invested in a Magnesium die casting set up. Ably supported by the Die Cast machine manufacturer and Rauch, suppliers of the magnesium furnaces, this is the first Cold chamber magnesium die casting facility in India and positions itself as a market leader.
